About
About Grazia Productions.
Founded by Maria Mariottini, a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her travels to Florence, Italy to visit family when she was young instilled in her a love of all the arts. She was compelled by the frescoes of Giotto, Henry Moore sculptures at Forta Belvederes and the overall natural and man-made beauty. At the Art Institute she studied painting with members of the Chicago Imagists: Ray Yoshida, Karl Wirsum, and Frank Piatek. She was involved in the installation and maintenance of Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party” in 1981. She has been involved in the Bucktown Arts Fest for over 16 years, growing its reputation as an art festival that represents over 180 artists in all media. Under her direction the Bucktown Arts Fest received a national award and was recognized as a art event committed to the arts. She also produces other art events in Chicago. They build community through the arts..
Each Show in Chicago benefits a Chicago Park District arts partner or Chicago Park District art program.
